1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Seven application for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS (the "App") and the official website located at seventodo.com (the "Website").
The App and Website are developed and operated by Seth Cottle ("Developer," "I," "me," or "my").
By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using the App or Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Website.
2. Purchase & License
Seven is a one-time purchase application available through the Apple App Store.
- Your purchase unlocks the current version of the App across supported Apple platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS) under Apple's universal purchase model.
- There are no subscriptions.
- There are no in-app purchases.
- There are no accounts required.
Your purchase is subject to Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use in accordance with Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA), unless otherwise specified.
3. Data & iCloud Synchronization
The App uses Apple's CloudKit framework to optionally sync tasks across your devices.
- Data is stored in your personal iCloud account.
- The Developer cannot access, view, retrieve, or modify your iCloud data.
- All synchronization occurs directly between your devices and Apple's infrastructure.
Use of iCloud is subject to Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
4. No Warranties (As-Is)
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
While reasonable efforts will be made to maintain and update the App:
- Apple may introduce operating system changes that impact functionality.
- Features may change or be discontinued.
- Compatibility with future OS versions is not guaranteed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seth Cottle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or Website.
Use of the App is at your own risk.
6. Refunds
All purchases are processed through Apple. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with their policies: support.apple.com/en-us/118223
The Developer does not process or issue refunds directly.
7. Third-Party Platforms
Your use of the App and Website may be subject to additional terms imposed by third parties, including but not limited to:
- Apple App Store
- Apple iCloud / CloudKit
- Cloudflare
- Formspark
- Fathom Analytics
The Developer is not responsible for the policies or practices of these third parties.
8. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. If material changes are made, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the App or Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
